Brief Bio:
Peter is the founding & lead pastor of Metro Community Church and co-executive director of Zimele USA. Born in Korea, he immigrated to the U.S. at six months of age and settled with his family in places like: Bronx, Queens, and Palisades Park.  After college, Peter worked four years for NBC News and MSNBC producing commercials for the network.  He moved out to Los Angles for three years, and now lives in Bergen County, NJ with his family. He and his wife, Jenny, have been married for nine years and have three kids.  Peter is a misfit and messed up, but redeemed by God’s grace and beauty.  He leads out of his weaknesses.  Yet, in spite of his weaknesses he has discovered the liberating favor of Jesus who says His grace is made perfect in our weakness.

Currently, much of his heart and passion is invested in fighting global poverty and bringing greater awareness to the plight of the poor and oppressed to people living in first world countries.
